Simple Guide for Charcuterie Boards

Creating a delightful charcuterie board is easy with this simple guide:

Select Your Meats: Choose a selection of cured meats like prosciutto, salami, chorizo, or even pâté. Aim for two to four different types to provide variety.

Pick Your Cheeses: Opt for a mix of cheeses to offer diverse flavors and textures. Include soft, creamy, semi-soft, and firm cheeses. Popular choices are brie, blue cheese, cheddar, and Gouda. Three to five cheese varieties work well.

Add Accompaniments: Arrange accompaniments around the meats and cheeses. These can include grapes, apple slices, dried fruits, fig jam, honey, olives, and mixed nuts. These extras add balance and complement the flavors. Check out our condiments (link to Chatfood)

Serve at Ideal Temperature: Take the cheeses and meats out of the refrigerator about 30 minutes before serving to allow their flavors to fully develop.

Label if Needed: If you have an assortment of unfamiliar cheeses or condiments, consider labeling them so your guests know what they’re enjoying.
